Or should it be the other way around?
The thing is that this is a huge ace for Amazon: having James Franco publishing his first novel with them rather than a traditional publishing house.
Actor's Anonymous, the title of the novel, is reported to be a fictionalized telling of his life as an actor. I hope he talks about his fiasco hosting the Oscar and how it feels to have a James Franco Course in Columbia College Hollywood.
Actor's Anonymous will be his third book but first novel; in 2010 he published a book of short stories called Palo Alto. Hmmm, I wonder if a ghostwriter was used? Probably not since he pursued a Ph.D. in literature at Yale, and Master in creative writing from Columbia.

I would definitely read this one... and I do agree about Oscar hosting. He did a pretty good job.
